A Brief HistoryEdit

The White Knights of Asgarnia are a Saradominist military order based in Falador, the capital city of Asgarnia. In the fourth age, the White Knights were joined together with the Kinshra under King Raddallin to unify the tribes of Asgarnia. The White Knights were the main force on the battlefield, whilst the Kinshra, who were made up of the high merchant class, built the capitol city of Falador. Despite this, the White Knights were given a grand castle inside the city, and the Kinshra were given a fortress on the Wilderness' edge.

When King Raddallin died, the sickly King Vallance took the throne. The fuel for the feud increased, and the fire roared, but still without violence. Finally, in Year 162 of the Fifth Age, the White Knights took over power from Vallance, who had been absent due to sickness. They outlawed the Kinshra in Asgarnia, removing them from all political power. The Kinshra responded by laying siege to Falador. To make matters worse, the White Knights were supported by the Temple Knights, and they didn't allow the Prince of Asgarnia to take the throne. The Prince broke off ties with Asgarnia and set up a principality in Burthorpe and Taverley.

This section addresses traits that unexperienced role-players often bestow their White Knight characters but that aren't actually seen in White Knights on Runescape.

  • White Knights aren't the policing force of Falador, and thus, would have no business in the Rising Sun to arrest individuals.
  • They will not attack civilians unprovoked.
  • White Knights are forbidden from marrying and engaging in intimate relationships.
